As the branch secretary of UNISON Bolton Local Government branch, my role is multifaceted, involving effective management of the day-to-day business to ensure the branch operates smoothly and efficiently in organizing and representing members across all sectors. 

I am tasked with coordinating and overseeing various administrative functions, including maintaining communication channels, organising stewards, and representing members in negotiation with their employers.
