UNISON Bolton Trade Union Branch

In my role as the assistant branch secretary of UNISON Bolton Local Government branch, I deputise where needed for the branch secretary and work alongside our dedicated team to strengthen our union's organising efforts. One of our key priorities is to develop effective strategies to equip stewards and members with the necessary skills and knowledge to increase membership and effectively represent our members in the workplace. 

Through targeted training sessions, workshops, and resources, we aim to empower stewards and members to confidently advocate for their rights and interests, engage with colleagues, and recruit new members. 

By fostering a culture of solidarity and collective action, we can amplify our voice and drive positive change for our members.
