UNISON Bolton Trade Union Branch

As the equalities officer of UNISON Bolton Local Government branch, my role is dedicated to championing diversity, inclusion, and equality within our union. 

Central to our responsibilities is advocating for the empowerment of self-organised groups, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns addressed within the branch. 

I work closely with these groups to provide support, resources, and guidance, fostering an environment where they feel empowered to take an active role in shaping our union's agenda. 

By organising events, campaigns, and initiatives that promote awareness and understanding of diverse issues, we strive to create a more inclusive and equitable union for all members.
