As the chair of UNISON Bolton Local Government branch, I am committed to facilitating effective communication and collaboration within our union. Chairing branch committee meetings and core officers groups meetings is essential in managing the day-to-day operations of the branch and ensuring that stewards are equipped to represent members in their respective workplaces. 

By fostering an inclusive and productive environment during these meetings, I aim to encourage open dialogue, debate, and decision-making that aligns with our members' interests and priorities.
